No fairytale in New York for Murray fans

FRIENDS and fans of Andy Murray crowded into the Centre Court pub in Colinton Road last night to watch him struggle valiantly against Roger Federer in the final of the US Open in New York.
The pub is close to the Craiglockhart Tennis Centre, where Murray trained as a youngster. Spirits were high before the match, as around 100 people squeezed into the bar, but it was not to be.
After losing the first set 6-2, Murray put up a spirited fight in the second set, only to lose 7-5, and finally conceded the third set 6-2.
