ENERGY provider British Energy has reported a fall in share prices after shutting one of the two reactors at its Hunterston B nuclear power station.
The Livingston-based company saw its shares drop by 6.5p to £5.13 following the announcement of the move at its Ayrshire plant last Friday.

The company had previously said that it would shut both its Scottish reactors for checks after problems with the boilers kept the plant closed from late 2006 until last spring.
