Care home is refused again

PLANS to build a 90-bed care home at Blackness Road, Linlithgow, have been thrown out for a second time.
Members of West Lothian Council's development and control committee refused planning permission.
They agreed with planning officials who concluded that the proposed design was not acceptable.
There had been concerns about the size of the building, and the effect it would have on the view of nearby Linlithgow Loch.
Earlier plans were refused in March last year.
