A SINGER on the same label as Britney Spears was caught carrying weapons, including a fake gun, in the Capital.
Natalie Hendry, 20, was recently signed up by Sony music bosses.

But the reggae singer was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning when police caught her hanging around in a stairwell in a block of Edinburgh flats.

She could not explain why she was there while out on six previous bail orders, so was taken into custody.

A police search found Hendry, from Edinburgh, was carrying an imitation firearm, a metal bar and an improvised dart.

Yesterday she admitted possession of offensive weapons and was remanded in custody.

Hendry, who performs in Scottish-Jamaican reggae band Project Bona Fide, insisted the weapons weren't hers.

She is due to be sentenced on September 3.
