THERE'S a relaxed attitude pervading the Terrace Restaurant, with an all-day buffet instead of the usual table service. But don't write this eatery off as a quick refuel joint for this hidden gem boasts all the culinary experience and quality of a top restaurant – without the price tag of formality.
With wooden tables set around a central buffet and carvery area, food is, quite literally, central to the Terrace. Diners can wander round and see just what is on offer or opt for the tempting a la carte menu.

With the renowned Fish Fridays back due to high demand, the central carvery is all too tempting, especially as the head chef is on hand to talk diners through the plethora of options.

The fish is stupendous, the starter array overwhelming (soups, salads, fresh meats and smoked salmon), and the desserts to die for (fresh fruit, cakes, gateaux and cheeses)

One word of advice: don't eat all day. When you dine at the Terrace food envy is guaranteed and, you will want to make the most of the fine food on offer.

Both the live cooking and the carvery options are included in the restaurant's fixed price buffet menu which costs £17.95 for two courses and coffee or £21.95 for three courses and coffee.
