Lastminute.com told to repay £1m outstanding refunds to customers or face legal action

Online travel agent Lastminute.com could face legal action if it does not repay over £1million owed to customers who had holidays cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced on 1 December 2020 that Lastminute.com had signed formal undertakings committing the firm to pay out over £7 million to more than 9,000 customers by the end of January this year.
