DAVID OBUA finally completed his move to Hearts today after jetting into Edinburgh from Uganda to sign a four-year contract with the Tynecastle club.
The versatile midfielder was forced to wait four weeks to officially join Hearts as he required a UK work permit to play in Scotland, which was finally granted on appeal last week. He will now begin his Hearts career in earnest and, provided he proves his fitness, could debut against St Mirren this weekend.

Obua is comfortable at left midfield or in the centre and can also operate at left-back. He is a player highly rated by Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo, who managed him whilst coaching the Ugandan national team.

A chance for Hearts fans to rate Laszlo's judgement.
I know absolutely nowt about this guy, and it will be interesting to see how he performs.
One thing is certain...He can't be any worse than--
Audrey
Mole
Makela
Elliot
Miko
Wallace
Neilson or Iskanivicious!
Can he?

I seem to remember the same build-up for the yet to be seen talents of Goncalves when he was signed, I just hope that he turns out to be a bit better than him.

At least this guy can reasonably be assumed to be a genuine managers signing.
Both the manager and the player are on trial here!
Players form Kaunas or any other Lith club are obviously Romanovs continued dictatorship, either that or this keeper must be exceptional!Persoanlly I thought Banks was more than capable, and if other clubs were interested it merely enhances his reputation.
Romanov may as well sack everybody! If the right offer comes along every player is interested, and in Romanovs case, any offer which gets you away from Heart of MidLithuania is acceptable!
Miko is unbeleivable,he can score a vital goal, and the next game sees him return to what he does best..............screw up!
I would have dumped him seasons ago.Hes a liability not an asset.
