Leaks spring up at Holyrood

STAFF at the Scottish Parliament had to rush for buckets to catch the drips as leaks appeared at various points in the £414 million Holyrood building.
Heavy rain yesterday led to leaks in the staff canteen, an office off the garden lobby and a corridor close to the chamber, which left an 18-inch puddle on the carpet.
But parliament officials insisted there had been no leaks in the chamber itself.
