Leaks spring up at Holyrood

STAFF at the Scottish Parliament had to rush for buckets to catch the drips as leaks appeared at various points in the £414 million Holyrood building.
Heavy rain yesterday led to leaks in the staff canteen, an office off the garden lobby and a corridor close to the chamber, which left an 18-inch puddle on the carpet.

But parliament officials insisted there had been no leaks in the chamber itself.

Not surprised.

You would think they would have got the basics
of "wind and watertight" sorted out.

Too many cooks got involved in stuff they had no knowledge about and we were left with a hefty bill and
a cr#p building which is barely fit for purpose.

God knows what will fall off the building in the years to come.

Note: When in the parliament building waiting for the
lift. Don't lean against the unfinished concrete panels. Marks the hell out of your suit.
