ANDY BARROWMAN has agreed a three-year-deal with Inverness Caledonian Thistle after turning down a lucrative move to the Coca-Cola Championship.
The 23-year-old claims there was more money on the table from clubs south of the border but felt a move to the Caledonian Stadium would be better for his career.
Barrowman netted 29 goals for Irn-Bru Second Division champions Ross County last season and is now keen to prove himself in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
He said: "I had opportunities to go down south and I went quite far down the road with a Championship club.
"I could have earned more money but I just felt that going to Inverness was the best move right now."
