SPARTANS are back at City Park tomorrow as they wait to move to their new ground at Ainslie Park, when they entertain Newtongrange Star in a friendly, which kicks off at 2pm.

"I wanted some of our new signings to experience a home game," said Spartans joint manager, Mike Lawson.

"We prefer to play tough games and playing Newtongrange definitely comes into that category. We will be without Danny Noon, who is now a qualified firefighter, and Daryl Devlinm who is on holiday, although Struan Preston has returned from holiday."
