Lene prepares to talk about her novel life
Danish author Lene Kaaberbøl attends the Edinburgh International Book Festival tomorrow, where she will be giving a talk and signing copies of Silverhorse, her latest book.
Born in 1960 Kaaberbøl published her first work at an age when most young people are more concerned with choosing their Highers. She was only 15 years old when the first two books of the her Tina series were published.
Twenty-five years later, the four books about Tina, her horses and her friends are still popular, having sold more than 100,000 copies in Scandinavia.
At the more mature age of 28, Kaaberbøl published her first novel for an adult audience, a complex fantasy called The Morning Land.
