SHAKESPOD is an exuberant romp through the collected works of Shakespeare, energetically executed by this talented cast. It tells the tale of Rosalind, a student with an iPod that spills Shakespearean verse into real life.

Fans of Shakespeare will love the quote-spotting opportunities – there are extracts from Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet and The Taming of the Shrew amongst others. The unconvinced will be charmed by this lively and funky rendition of a story that still feels very fresh.

This is a hugely talented cast supported by a great soundtrack and a colourful set. Aoife Stone as Rosalind is particularly captivating as the wistful but enterprising protagonist. This is an imaginative play from a cast who look like they're having bags of fun.
