Man rushed to hospital after four-car smash

A MAN has been taken to hospital after a four-car crash in Midlothian.
Firefighters cut the man free from his vehicle following the accident at 1.25pm at Kippielaw, near East Linton.

The man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

It is not clear how serious his injuries are.

A woman is also thought to have sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
