A CHALLENGE is being issued to people in West Lothian to ditch their cars in September.
West Lothian Council has branded September "West Lothian Travel Challenge month" and is asking residents to change the way they travel.

the challenge is to travel by public transport lol,
wot a joke i tried it earlier this yr, if a bus actually turns up its generally an old bucket driven by someone with a phone stuck to thier ear and fares i'd be ashamed to ask for,the train is not much better, i boarded a train cleary signed for bathgate only for it to be announced only after the wheels started turning that it would be terminating at livingston, i pity the folk that didnt know which bus or where to get it that were traveling on the train,
the information passed on by the ticket collector was little more than useless,
me i'l stick to the car,
i must add that i have over the yrs been a bus driver so i'm not anti public transport in any way however it just doesn't work in west lothian.

Couldn't travel on buses anymore. First Bus in West Lothian were rubbish when I used to travel into Edinburgh and I've heard they haven't improved. Train or car for me

Have West Lothian Council been at the drugs ????

They know that we have the worst bus service in the UK courtesy of First. I wouldn't consider getting a bus in West Lothian for a single second.
