FLOODING in Oxgangs is to be discussed at a public meeting next week.
The meeting will be held at 7pm in St Mark's Primary School in Firrhill Crescent on September 8.
The area was badly hit by flooding which struck Edinburgh last month, with some houses reporting "lakes of water" in their gardens.
Councillor Eric Barry, who has organised the meeting, commented: "It only affects a few houses, but it's been a problem for the 30 years I've lived here."
