FREE school meals are on the menu for West Lothian children, after the council welcomed the Scottish Government's commitment to introduce them in primary schools.
West Lothian Council has made full financial provision for the plans to provide primary one to three children with free meals, beginning in 2010. A pilot project in other areas of Scotland has proved successful.

I dont get this we the tax payer are paying for school children from (some) families that probably have more disposable income than us.

Thats slightly unfair.

Meanwhile the elderly and disabled struggle on , its a crazy cocked up system
