HARD work and dedication has paid off for a worker from the Lothians.
Mags Johnston, of West Calder, has been honoured for her commitment to setting up an employment centre in North Edinburgh.

The Jobcentre Plus employee – a member of staff for 33 years – was instrumental in the creation of Jobzone Plus at the Waterfront.

And she has received an award from her bosses in recognition of her efforts.

Manager Sharon Telford said: "Mags' experience and skills have been essential in setting up the new service."
