A MISSING registered sex offender today became the first Scot to be posted on a child protection organisation's Most Wanted site.
Joseph Millbank, 48, was last seen in the Perth area on Friday June 27 and is said to pose a "significant threat" to children.
Police believe he has travelled to France and could be further afield in Europe, and urged holidaymakers to look out for him.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre has now posted his details on its Most Wanted website to raise the profile of the hunt for him following appeals from Tayside Police.
Millbank was convicted in January 2002 at the High Court in Aberdeen of three charges of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices.
He was sentenced to 10 years, with a 10-year extended period.
The Scot was released from prison on May 6 this year but has now failed to comply with the conditions of his licence and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Millbank is considered a danger to children and has previously posed as a council official, CEOP said.
